Played badminton in two different venues -- yep, me and my ShenGGie played for like 3 and 1/2 hours! Tiring really but it felt soooo good.. :)
Our first stop was "Smashville" in Ortigas with her officemates. Had the chance to meet her employer and immediate boss Mark and Carmina respectively. Both are good “smashers”! But Jhong was really the ace player. He smashes the ball like a bullet -- faster than ae speeding bullet! Had a hard time returning the ball to him... I guess I have to figure out next time how to protect myself from his smashes hehehe… Or they better be ready with my bullet proof vest for next week's game :)
And our next stop was "The Zone" in Makati, we played for another 2 hours... At first I thought we're exhausted already and won’t be able to play at par with my cousin Ate Mags and her Metrobank officemates. But would you believe that we still lasted for 2 hours and still gives them a hell of a game -- I would want to think that way ;)… There was this one game played by my ShenGGie with the other girls that lasted for more than 30 minutes... Yep you read it right folks, 30 minutes for a single set! And lastly, to my delight I saw my Shenggie's face turning reddish while playing.. and I kindda loved it... Whoah! What a view from the bleachers… Ganda ganda ganda talaga nya!!!
In playing, you get to learn to play as a team… It’s really not a game of individual skills neither of winning or losing.. It's like having fun and being competitive combined. And not to forget losing weight is another major advantage! Ahihihi
